Seedlings IV: Winter (Limited Edition)

Seedlings is a series that follows the path of the year, returning us to the rhythms of nature. The work of over eighty artists fills this rich collection of stories, art, essays, poetry, and song.

We welcome you to envision waking from hibernation into a moment of midwinter awareness. Seedlings IV: Winter features 18 typeset and handprinted poems, with two original letterpress printed drawings, stories, essays, photography, paintings and more. Highlights include a wintry photo of a thistle on Direct Positive Paper by Kristian Faulkner, a pair of visceral, captivating poems by Harper Walton, and a touching exploration of sapphism and fluidity by Sophia Brousset & Felicity Dean.

Seedlings IV: Winter was printed by Seedlings at the London Centre for Book Arts in February-March 2025, on a pair of Vandercooks called Basil and Jane. We bound it ourselves by hand at our studio. We also used a mix of risograph and digital methods. Paperback edition available at a more affordable price.
